They gave Karen some of the more powerful medication last night and she has now sworn it off completely unless the pain is unbearable. She really does not like the side effects.
My parents stopped by to visit today and helped me do some shopping (space heater and car seat) while a friend of ours, Tawnia, visited with Karen. My sister, Katrina, stopped by with our son, James, for a visit. We were able to see Becca who is still doing great. She had her eyes open and tracking for most of our time there. The doctor said I could even hold her if I was wearing my mask and washed my hands well. I decided not to chance it and just took pictures.
