Karen is alternating ibuprofen and acetaminophen and it is
keeping the pain under control fairly well for now. They had tried some more powerful (narcotic based) pain
medications on Thursday but Karen does not like the side effects of it.
We managed to have date night consisting of dinner in the
first floor atrium. Karen had home
made potato soup (courtesy of Karen’s mom, Georgia) while I had some cafeteria
food. I think Karen got the better
end of that. After dinner we went
up to visit Becca and Karen was able to hold her for awhile.
