April 10
Karen's sister, Diana, stopped by for a visit today. Diana hadn't seen Karen for a few weeks and noticed a big difference. Before she left we went to the hospital for a visit with Rebecca. We used a wheelchair for Karen and she held James in her lap on the way up. Since I had been getting a tickle in the back of my throat I decided not to chance it and stayed near a window.
Karen arranged for a nurse to bring Becca near the window so Diana, James and I could see the little girl. After the visit we grabbed Karen some dinner and headed home. We are going to try and stay there for a few days and do some work on the house. We don't want to be away from Becca for very long and may decide to head back sooner.
