This will be a pretty short post. I and a few others are trying to compile pictures, stories, and videos to help James and Rebecca remember their mom. If you have anything like that please share it with us and them. The stories can be posted here or on my Facebook page or the Facebook Hope for Hoth page. If we're not already friends just send me an invite. If you're not on Facebook let me know and other arrangements can be made. If it's a story the comments section here would work as well. Anything is better than nothing!
Time is short for Karen. She hasn't been eating much lately and today she was unable to swallow her medications. It is heartbreaking to watch this but worse than that is the thought of her kids not knowing her so please share what you can of Karen with them.
Thank you,
Braden
One of the things I will remember about Karen is her sweetness, her genuine smile, her gratitude and her love of her sweet best friend and husband Braden and those dear children. She has this light about her..a Christ-like attitude about life, family and friends and her determination to keep going. Because of Karen and our friendship my life has been uplifted by her countenance, I believe the Lord broke the mold when he made Karen. One of whom I will miss deeply. Love, Kay
ReplyDeleteI worked with Karen for a couple years at six star in Logan. I remember her always being kind, smiling, really talking to customers and caring. I loved when we were scheduled to work together. She was always particular, precise, and patient with tasks. I specifically remember her picking out some flowers to decorate her new house in north Logan and she must have tried a dozen different combinations until she thought it was just perfect. To me she is an angel, one who I will always think of with nothing more than admiration and love!
ReplyDeleteI was one of Karen's Young Women leaders when she was a Mia Maid. I am so sorry that she is so sick. My prayers are with you and all of the family. 💕
ReplyDeleteJust two weeks ago when I brought soup for you guys we were sitting down at the table eating and Braden was reminding Karen to take her pills. And Karen said "please don't touch me" to Braden. A few minutes later she reached over and touched Bradens shoulder and apologized for snapping at him. That said a lot to me she was always so kind and loving. And that's how I will always remember her!! So much love!! 💕
